Urgent Road Closure - Faversham Road, Lenham - 30th July 2025 (Maidstone)
It will be necessary to close Faversham Road, Lenham from 30th July 2025 for up to 5 days.
The road will be closed at 1 Glovers Cottages, Faversham Road.
The alternative route is via Faversham Road, A20 Ashford Road, A20 Maidstone Road, A252 Charing Hill, Faversham Road, Broomfield Lane, A251 Ashford Road, A2 Canterbury Road, A2 London Road, A2 Ospringe Street, A2 London Road, Faversham Road, The Street, Doddington Lane, The Street, Faversham Road, Woodside Green, Faversham Road and vice versa.
This is to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by South East Water.

Urgent Road Closure - School Lane, Platts Heath - 4th August 2025 (Maidstone)
It will be necessary to close School Lane, Platts Heath from 4th August 2025 for up to 3 days.
The road will be closed between numbers 8 - 18 School Lane, Platts Heath.
The alternative route is via Lenham Road, Headcorn Road and vice versa.
This is to enable carriageway patching and footpath reconstruction works to be carried out by Kent County Council.
