Work at William Pitt Field
Lenham Parish Council
Work to remove the hedges bordering Old Ham Lane at William Pitt Field is scheduled to start on Monday 15 January. This is to allow the development company Countryside / Vistry Homes, to widen Old Ham Lane to allow access to the development land which makes up strategic site 5, west of Old Ham Lane as laid out in the Lenham Neighbourhood Plan. This will lead to the development of 136 new homes on that land.
Once the work has been completed there will be a new, permenant access onto William Pitt Field with improved car parking and the hedge will be replanted.
