Vacancy for Deputy Parish Clerk

0.4 WTE / 15 to 18 hours per week

Initial 12-month fixed term contract with possibility of extension

The new post of Deputy Clerk to the Parish Council will be a Proper Officer of the Council and as such will assist the Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer (RFO) with their duties. They will provide a key role in the delivery of the current services and support the future development of the Council.

Lenham Parish Council is seeking a reliable individual to join our team for an initial fixed term contract of 12 months. We are looking for someone who will settle into the role quickly and help the Council achieve its goals for the community. 

Lenham has strong and varied communities and the person we are looking for will enjoy the dynamic, varied and fast-paced nature of the work. You must have strong personal resilience in this public facing role, an ability to juggle several priorities at once and a good sense of humour!
